Align Aerospace Holdings appointed Andrew Roberts as CEO, succeeding Richard Organ.
Roberts has 25 years of experience in the aerospace industry – most recently as CEO of Permaswage. Previously he was with Northwest Airlines, Pratt & Whitney, Aviall and Lucas Industries.
Align chairman Ray Benvenuti said the board is confident Roberts can “grow Align’s revenue, while further strengthening the company’s capabilities and operations to deliver excellent value and world-class service to our customers.”

Align Aerospace traces its company history to the 1972 founding of Alatec Products Inc. in Chatsworth. In 1995 the ASI Aerospace Group was formed after Aerospace Supply Inc. acquired four aerospace and defense hardware distributors. In 1998 Pentacon Inc. was created by a rollup of five founding fastener distributors, including Alatec. The new company’s aerospace business became Pentacon Aerospace Group. In 2002 Anixter International acquired Pentacon. In 2007 Eurofast is acquired from LISI Aerospace, giving Anixter Pentacon a European customer base. Beacon Fasteners & Components is expanding thread forming product line by stocking DIN 7500 metric thread forming screws, including Type C, Type CE, Type D and Type M thread forming screws in steel-zinc RoHS, national sales manager Kameron Dorsey stated.
“Offering comparable metric sizes is a great compliment to our existing line of thread forming screws,” Dorsey said. “As always we will continue to expand our products and services to meet our long term customers’ needs.”
