All-West Fasteners Inc. CEO Rick Peterson announced three promotions: Mark Peterson becomes president; Chris Shirley, vice president/sales; and Bobbi Partney, secretary/treasurer.

Atlantic Fasteners completed its move from West Springfield, MA, to a 44,500 sq ft facility in neighboring Agawam, consolidating all employees under one roof. The new address is 92 H.P. Almgren Dr., Agawan, MA 01001. 

The new facility can hold four times the company’s current inventory and accommodate 25% more office employees. It includes a 22-foot pickup counter, with 17 technical fastener wall charts. Web: atlanticfasteners.com

 

Bay State Cable Ties is investing $2 million in expanding and equipping its Florida plant. In March, Bay State will break ground on a 20,000 sq ft addition to reach a total of 75,000 sq ft. 

At the end of 2014, Bay State installed new tool and molding machines and in the coming months will increase the total to 14 molding machines running 24/7/365. 

 “We are committed to keeping all of our production in the United States,” vice president of sales Tim Bagley said.

Falcon Fastening Solutions Inc. appointed Steve Rimmer as business development manager, vice president Giovanni Cespedes announced.

SWD Inc. is marking its 35th anniversary of its founding by Richard Delawder.

SWD opened in March 1980 with three employees in a 9,000 sq. ft. leased facility and began black oxiding, cleaning and pickling operations with used equipment. In late 1980, SWD began passivating stainless steel and in 1981 purchased Fastener Sorting Corporation.

TriMas Aerospace Division president Tom Aepelbacher announced new roles in the Allfast Fastening Systems and Monogram Aerospace division.

John Gonzalez is general manager and VP of operations for both Allfast and Monogram. Gonzalez has 23 years of fastener experience with Alcoa Fastening Systems.

Keith Brunell is VP of sales for TriMas Aerospace. He has 20 years experience with SPS Technologies, Morton Manufacturing and Monogram Aerospace. 

Patrick Meade is the senior advisor to Trimas Aerospace division. He has been president at Monogram Aerospace, Lisi Aerospace (Hi-Shear Corp.), and active with the aerospace division of the Industrial Fastener Institute.
