Lee S. Johnson Associates Inc. is marking the 30th anniversary of its founding in 1984 by Lee S. Johnson Sr.

Since 1998 the rep agency has been headed by the founder’s son, Lee S. Johnson Jr.

“It was a privilege to work with my dad in the early years and I know he would be proud to see the agency reach this milestone. I am blessed to be part of something he took great pride in starting,” the son said. “Think about that for a moment….In 1984 we had Ghostbusters, The Cold War, BYU-NCAA Football Champs, stamps were 20 cents, Huey Lewis & The News, President Reagan and the debut of The Cosby Show. That was a long time ago and as a company we weathered a lot of ‘stuff,’ yet we are still doing today what my dad was doing in 1984, taking care of both our customers and our principals.”

Johnson Jr. is the current co-president of the Mid-Atlantic Fastener Association.

Today the agency services fastener and industrial markets in a six-state territory from New York to Virginia. Steve Gilmor is outside sales manager and Dana Taylor handles inside sales.  The agency is based at 102 Pickering Way #102, Exton, PA 19341.
