Fortune magazine named Field Fastener to its 100 Best Companies to Work For. Field was chosen as a “People’s Pick” of 15 Great Places to Work in Manufacturing & Production.
Field and 14 other companies were selected based on evaluations by 34,000 employees using the Trust Index, Great Place to Work’s employee assessment survey.
This year Field’s survey results were outstanding with 98% of team members saying they experience a family feeling at Field, and 99% responding that Field’s leadership team has everyone’s best interest at heart when making decisions.
“The culture at Field is built on shared values, a common mission, and passionate team members,” Field president Jim Derry said. “Our team is what separates Field from our competitors and the results of the survey reaffirms the importance of our culture within the organization. Our people love what they do and our customers, our suppliers, and our community can feel that love.”
Great Rated survey CEO Kim Peters observed that “consumer demands and expectations steadily increase, so does the competition for talent among manufacturing and production companies. As such, many of these companies are undertaking strategic initiatives to retain current employees as well as to attract new ones. Companies that offer great workplaces recognize the fact that employee happiness will in turn lead to higher productivity, better customer service and an elevated reputation for the company.”
Field is a global provider of inventory management and supply chain solutions for fasteners and other Class “C” items. The company was acquired by Derry Enterprises in 1990. Since then, Derry said Field has averaged 20% annual growth and for four years Inc. magazine has listed Field among the fastest growing private companies in America.
Field serves 1,000+ customers worldwide and is headquartered at 9883 N. Alpine Rd., Machesney Park, IL 61115. Tel: 815 637-9002 Web: fieldfastener.com
