UK-based Doncasters Group Ltd. appointed Bill Russell to the divisional role of Senior VP of Sales and Marketing for its Fastener Systems group, which includes Nelson Stud Welding, Specialty Bar, EBC Industries located, Ferry Cap and General Products LLC.

Russell joined Doncasters from B/E Aerospace. For the past five years he was president of Doncasters’ gear products division prior to its sale at the end of June.  

“We will be building on the excellent work within the division to further identify key strengths across the business units and leverage where possible as we aggressively pursue existing and new markets,” Russell stated.

Russell will work with divisional managing directors and sales and marketing personnel to leverage the value of individual business units as well as cross-promote manufacturing capabilities to new and existing customers.

Olegario Marques Rangel has joined NEF in charge of organization and maintenance of NEF’s technical specifications and engineering documents, president Eric Webster announced.

Rangel holds a MS in mechanical engineering and has experience in single die and multiple die cold heading machines, from tool design to the production of parts. He previously was with Milford Rivet, Landreth Engineering, Ideal Products and Holo-Krome.

He will be in charge NEF’s new multi-blow machinery operations as it begins to manufacture new products, such as socket head cap screws and specialty fasteners.

Sherex Fastening Solutions named Margaret Schwindler to the position of sales support.

Schwindler joins Sherex Fastening Solutions from Ingram Micro, where she spent 15 years acting as a liaison between customer service and various global and domestic departments. Schwindler’s experience also includes 5 years of handling all code specifics for Ingram including vendor credits and direct ship traces, which led to her being named representative of the year in 1999.
