Falcon Fastening Solutions named Charles Debbout director of sales.

Falcon VP Giovanni Cespedes said Debbout “has a clear understanding of supply chain management and can speak to the challenges that original equipment manufacturers face in their day-to-day operations, specifically in inventory management.”

Debbout will promote Falcon’s VMI cost-savings programs and services with OEMs in the Southeast.

Sherex Fastening Solutions is marking the 10th anniversary of its Taiwan manufacturing, R&D and sales facility.

Sherex Taiwan has been led by Dr. Alex Hsaio since initial planning began in 2004.

After several expansions, the Taiwan facility has quadrupled in size. It has been ISO/TS 16949:2009 and ISO 14001:2004 certified. Sherex Taiwan’s products include several Riv-Float rivet nut inserts.

Termax Corp. plans to add an 80,000 sq ft warehouse to its facility at 200 Telser Road in Lake Zurich, IL, expanding its office and warehouse operation from 20,000 sq ft to 100,000 sq ft, the Daily Herald reports.

“The automobile industry is booming,” stated Termax CFO John Hoeksema.

Termax reportedly intends to build on six acres adjacent to its current site.

“Termax’s finished products would be stored in the new warehouse and shipped from a six-bay dock area on the south end of the structure,” writes Bob Susnjara of the Herald.

In 2004, Termax used a $4 million state incentive to relocate its operations to Lake Zurich.

Founded in 1971, Termax manufactures fasteners for automotive applications.
