Mary Becker is the new director of automotive sales for EFC International, vice president of sales & engineering Bill Eagan announced.
Becker has 20+ years’ experience in sales and business development in automotive, heavy truck, military, and industrial market segments. She will be based at EFC’s Detroit facility and her role includes strategic development of new business opportunities, sales team leadership and existing automotive customer relationships.
CEO Matt Dudenhoeffer said adding Becker is “a sign of our continued growth, expansion and commitment to continue being a leading company in our industry.”

Hahn Systems opened a branch in Batavia, IL. The Indianapolis construction and industrial tool supplier already had branches in Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky.
The Chicago-area branch will serve residential and commercial construction customers, plus pallet, crating and other wood-based manufacturers in Northern Illinois.
Mike Saulnier is branch manager.

Founded in 1938, Hahn Systems supplies construction and industrial tools, including nails, staples, abrasives, adhesives and fasteners.

Liberty Fastener is marking its 40th anniversary. Founded in 1974 by CEO Larry Scharringhausen, Liberty has grown to having 5,000 customers. Liberty stocks 35,000 items in a new state-of-the-art warehouse. The staff totals 200+ years of fastener experience.

MSC Industrial Supply Co. appointed Kari Heerdt as the company’s Chief People Officer.
Heerdt will be responsible for overseeing the company’s people strategy, including associate and community relations and HR. She will be based in Davidson, NC.

Heerdt brings more than 20 years of HR experience.
