Jay-Cee Sales & Rivet Inc. introduced a new logo, manager Allan Weitzman announced.

Founded in 1948, Jay-Cee is a fourth-generation supplier of rivets and special fasteners. General Motors presented its “2013 GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award” to PennEngineering Automotive Fastener Co. Ltd. in Kunshan, China.  PEAF supplies fastening and assembly solutions for OEM/Tier 1 automotive and related transportation industries.

GM evaluated quality criteria month-over-month to qualify PEAF for the annual award.  Requirements achieved by PEAF in 2013 included zero late deliveries, zero plant disruptions and zero PRRs (Problem, Reporting, and Resolution).  In addition, PEAF met GM’s rigorous quality standard for defects by not exceeding one per million pieces shipped.

PEAF’s Kunshan plant manufactures autoPEM fastening hardware and make-to-print products and has design engineering capabilities, a portfolio of licensed technologies, and quality assurance processes to meet relevant industry certifications.
