Porteous Fastener Company donated $18,500 to Hope for the Warriors, a national nonprofit organization that supports U.S. service members and their families.
On Veterans Day 2011, PFC announced to customers that the company would donate 10% of that day’s profits to Hope For The Warriors. Many customers placed extra orders.
“We are proud to be living in this great country and for our freedom, which others sacrifice to provide,” Bob Porteous said. “We thank everyone for supporting us, so that we can help support our troops and their families with this donation!”

Nowatzki has more than 20 years of training and sales experience in the home and building products industry, including with Elk Composite Building Products and GAF Building Materials., which merged with Elk in 2007. Most recently he was a technical and field services manager in GAF’s decking business group. Nowtzki trained territory sales managers and customer service representative, organized trade show presentations and coordinated R&D teams to launch new products
