SHOW NEWS: Alessandra Added to STAFDA Program

Some NIFS exhibitors and distributors will be heading directly from Las Vegas to San Francisco for the 28th annual convention of the Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributions Association.
The November 14-16, 2004, convention features futurist Lowell Catlett as the keynote speaker; the state-of-the-industry address by STAFDA president Craig Russell of Active Sales Co., Santa Fe Springs, CA; and the state-of-manufacturing address by Paul Steiner, Kapro Industries Ltd. of Hakerem, Israel.
STAFDA announced Tony Alessandra, co-founder of MentorU.com and author of 14 books and 50 videos, will conduct a workshop on bottom-line marketing tactics. Alessandra replaces Roger Blackwell, a nationally known marketing authority and author, who was indicted on insider trading charges
Other STAFDA workshop presenters include last year”s keynote speaker, Frank Abagnale, teaching how to prevent embezzlement, forgery, counterfeit currency, check fraud, identity theft and Internet fraud. Abagnale was the subject of Stephen Spielberg”s movie, Catch Me If You Can; author Marjorie Bordy will speak on Present Like a Pro; and Mark Dancer, vice president of Pembroke Consulting, will speak on Future Channel Trends & Strategies.
