SHOW NEWS: Fastener Fair Budapest Grew 11%
Fastener Fair Budapest 2010
The second Fastener Fair Budapest, held at the Syma Center in Hungary on September 6-7, drew 189 exhibitors from 27 countries — an 11% increase over the 2008 event.
Over half the exhibitors were European, with Germany, Italy and Hungary leading the way, joined by strong contingents from the UK, Czech Republic and Netherlands.
Worldwide exhibitors came from China, Taiwan and India as well as Turkey, Israel, the U.S. and South Africa.
The number of visitors increased 51.8% to 1,537 attendees.
About 61% of visitors came from the central and south eastern Europe markets for which the Budapest show is targeted.
The number of visitors from Hungary increased by 24%, and from all of the target countries by 37%.
Nearly three-quarters of visitors opted for a fast track entry by pre-registering online via the Fastener Fair Budapest website, up from the one-in-two attendees who pre-registered in 2008.
“We are delighted to have seen the second edition of Fastener Fair Budapest grow in all its dimensions,” stated show director Jamie Mitchell. “It was particularly pleasing to see our marketing campaign rewarded with a more than 50% increase in visitors, and to see substantial growth not just from Hungary but also from the surrounding central and southeastern Europe markets.”
“What was most noticeable was the high quality of so many of the stands.” Web: fastenerfair.com ©2010 GlobalFastenerNews.com
