The 2016 Fastener Fair Turkey is expanding to a second hall with the first exhibition hall now booked.
The third Fastener Fair Turkey will be March 30-31, 2016 at the Istanbul Expo Centre.
A total of 120 companies from 12 countries – China, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Israel, Italy, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey – have reserved booths.
The 2014 trade show drew 1,700 managers, engineers and buyers. Half of those were either wholesalers or distributors; fastener and fixings manufacturers accounted for 29%; and 21% were end-users. The majority of attendees were based in Turkey, but a quarter of them came from 47 other countries.
“Turkey is an important market for the fastener and fixings industry,” exhibition director Olivia Griscelli said. “The high level of international interest we are receiving also confirms Istanbul as the ideal exhibition location for companies targeting markets in the wider region beyond Turkey.”
