SHOW NEWS: Fastener Tech Tops 100 Exhibiting Companies for 2013
Distributor registration for Fastener Tech 13 is free until June 3 for the biennial trade show.
Fastener Tech will be June 10-12, 2013, at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, near Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
As of May 8, there are more than 100 exhibiting companies totaling 136 booths, Mid-West Fastener Association executive director Nancy Rich said.
Online registration is available on the Mid-West Fastener Association website: mwfa.net.
Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
There is an all-industry reception at 5 p.m. on Tuesday and gathering at the Park Rosemont at 8 p.m.
The conference program begins Monday with a one-day Fastener Training Institute workshop.
Tuesday conference sessions include:
• MWFA purchasing safeguards seminar, 9 a.m.
• Women in the Fastener Industry session, “The 7 Things You Need to Succeed Right Now, with Linda McCabe.
• “Making Fasteners Beginning to End,” Fastener Technology International, 1 p.m.
• “Snapshot of Industry Trends,” Holden Lewis, Fastener Distributor Index, 4 p.m.
The Fastener Industry Coalition will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The events are sponsored by the Mid-West Fastener Association and Fastener Technology International magazine.
