SHOW NEWS: Fastener Training Institute Plans Columbus Workshops
The Fastener Training Institute is planning two half-day workshops in conjunction with the National Industrial Fastener Show/East in Columbus.
“Print Reading for Fastener Industry Professionals,” will be presented on Tuesday morning, May 25, and “Solid Modeling & Computer Aided Design for Fasteners & Assembly Components” will be in the afternoon. Both courses will be taught by Carmen Vertullo of SimplyBetter.
The NIFS/East opening reception will be Tuesday evening and the trade show on Wednesday.
As of February 1 NIFS listed 41 exhibiting companies with 60 booths marked off on the online 2010 show floor plan.
The 2008 NIFS/East drew 164 booths and the 2009 East show was cancelled. Since 2000 the East show has averaged 242 booths.
