SHOW NEWS: German, U.S. Hardware Shows Affiliate

The International Hardware Fair / Practical World in K�ln (Cologne), Germany, announced a sales and marketing agreement with the National Hardware Show in the U.S.
Practical World will be March 14-17, 2004, in K�ln and includes a fastener hall. The show promoters are forecasting 3,700 suppliers from 60 countries and 75,000 attendees.
The National Hardware Show is one of two newly competing events. The traditional August National Hardware Show in Chicago was in conjunction with the American Hardware Manufacturers Association�s International Hardware Week.
AHMA has split from show sponsor Reed Exhibitions and will sponsor a hardware show April 18-20, 2004, at Chicago�s McCormick Place. Reed Exhibitions, which owns the National Hardware Show name, is moving its event to May 10-12, 2004, at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas.
