The Midwest Fastener Expo will feature training programs by the National Fastener Distributors Association and the Los Angeles Fastener Association in addition to the traditional Chicago Fastener Show.\
The show, sponsored by the Chicago Bolt, Nut & Screw Association, will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2004, at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, near Chicagos OHare International Airport.
The LAFA fastener quality assurance, print reading and inspection seminar will be on Monday. The Fastener Industry Coalition will meet on Monday, followed by a Lake Michigan dinner cruise.
The NFDAs Train the Trainer technical training program will be on Tuesday. The traditional fastener bash will follow the show.
“While the social aspect is a great way to meet new or current vendors/customers, the Chicago Fastener Show committee strives to provide an educational experience,” CBNSA executive director Nancy Rich commented. “Between other programs offered and the variety of products displayed, new as well as seasoned fastener personnel should leave learning something new.”
The booth price this year is $750, including furniture. Show proceeds go to CBNSA training and scholarship programs.
