Despite Recession, Fastener Fair Stuttgart Setting Records
Fastener Fair Stuttgart has reached a record 560 exhibiting companies for the 2009 trade show, which is 125 more than the biennial show had in 2007.
The third Fastener Fair Stuttgart will be October 7-8, 2009, at the new Messe Stuttgart, adjacent to the international airport in Germany’s industrial heartland.
“We’ve attracted record numbers of exhibitors and we’re now on track to achieve record visitor levels too,” organizer Jerry Ramsdale announced.
He predicted more than 600 companies from 37 countries will exhibit.
“Now our task is to make sure that as many qualified visitors as possible attend the exhibition,” Ramsdale noted. FFS is offering a drawing for a trip to Las Vegas.
Goebel GmbH and the U.S.-based National Industrial Fastener Shows are sponsoring a prize of round trip flight for two people, four nights in a Mandalay Bay Hotel suite and entry in the November 16-18, 2009, NIFS/West trade show.
Visitors pre-registering online at fastenerfair.com also can nominate a colleague as a potential visitor and be in a drawing for an 8GB Apple iPod Nano.
Ramsdale said early indications from online registrations are that “visitors will be attending in record numbers too.”
