SHOW NEWS: Numbers Up for ’15 Fastener Fair Stuttgart
Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2015 drew a 4% increase in attendees to top the 11,000 mark, trade show organizer Mack Brooks Exhibitions announced.
There were 833 exhibiting companies from 42 countries, totaling 18,500 sq meters (199,132 sq. ft) or the equivalent of 1,991 of the 10×10 booths. Mack Brooks reported it as a 15% increase in space over 2013.
The show was held March 10-12, 2015, at the Stuttgart Messe.
• The 2013 biennial show drew 811 exhibiting companies with 16,000 sq. meters of space. The 2011 show in Stuttgart had 667 exhibiting companies taking 12,500 sq. meters.
In comparison, the 2014 National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo in Las Vegas had 604 exhibiting companies taking 822 booths.
• A 60% majority of the 11,060 trade visitors came from outside Germany (40% of all visitors) – with the top countries being Italy, Great Britain, France and Poland. According to Mack Brooks, the attendance of top management and visitors with decision making capacity increased by 10%.
Mack Brooks reported 10,600 visitors from 97 countries in 2013.
Marketing director Susanne Neuner said the visitor count “corresponds to German AUMA/FKM practice meaning that only visitors are counted that actually attended the show and were scanned on-site.”
The next Fastener Fair Stuttgart will be March 28-30, 2017.
