SME’s 2006 Eastec Features Manufacturing Programs

The 2006 Eastec manufacturing expo will include exhibit areas for precision manufacturing equipment; tooling, workholding and machine accessories; automation; design, engineering & rapid technologies; and plant, energy and environmental efficiency.
Eastec, sponsored by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers will be May 23-25 at the Eastern States Exposition Center in West Springfield, MA.

Tuesday (May 23) is the Aerospace & Defense Supplier Day; Wednesday is Meet the Buyer Day for purchasing agents; and Thursday is Energy & Environmental Assessment Day. Eastec features an automation, lean & quality resource center; a course and exam leading to lean certification; smart machining, tooling & small manufacturer resource center; and a machine operator mobile training center. Programs also include a CEO and plant manager roundtable and a student summit.
