Specialty Screw Corp. Names William Osgood Assoc.
Specialty Screw Corporation appointed William Osgood Associates as sales rep in the Ontario and Quebec areas of Canada.
“This group has already successfully represented Specialty (Screw) in the state of Michigan for the last four years,” stated Specialty Screw Corp.
Located in the Detroit area for more than thirty years, William Osgood Associates is a five-person sales group with automotive experience. Members are Robert Angell, Erik Winnega, J.P. Angell, Paul Wiggins, and Scott Wilson.
“They have an in depth knowledge and understanding of their customers and the requirements in the automotive market place,” Specialty Screw added.
In 2012, Specialty Screw Corp. received the Manufacturer of the Year Award from the Rockford Chamber of Commerce, the Rockford Register Star reports.
Founded in 1953, the company manufactures cold formed fasteners and employs about 65 workers.
Under the leadership of Russell Johansson, Specialty Screw has focused on efficiency to remain competitive. Those efforts reportedly include a solar photovoltaic system — using locally made solar panels — to generate up to 1.8 kilowatts of energy.
