SPIROL International Corp. completed expansion of its headquarters in Danielson, CT, marketing VP Christie Jones announced.

“The expansion that began in early 2016 includes significant additional manufacturing space, new state of the art warehouses for raw material and finished goods, a new quality lab and office space, new flooring, updated lighting, and significant investments in new production technology,” the company stated. “Overall this effort expanded the manufacturing area by approximately 40%.”

SPIROL is led by CEO Jeff Koehl, who is the grandson of founder Herman Koehl.

Founded in 1948 with the invention of the coiled spring pin, SPIROL manufactures engineered components for fastening, joining, and assembly. Products include pins, alignment dowels and bushings, threaded inserts for plastics, disc springs, shims, and installation equipment.
