STAFDA Announces 2011 Convention Speakers
The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association announced seven speakers for educational workshops at its 35th annual convention.
The STAFDA convention will be November 13-15, 2011, in San Antonio.
Economist Alan Beaulieu of the Institute for Trend Research will speak on the North American economy, financial indicators and the construction/industrial markets.
Dr. Bart Basi, Center for Financial, Legal & Tax Planning, will discuss strategic planning, ESOPs, retirement transitions and exit strategies.
Jeff Gusdorf, BSW Consulting Group, will talk about current and up-and-coming technology.
Barry Brandman, Danbee Investigations, will discuss security issues.
Michael Marks, Indian River Consulting, will lead a workshop on business challenges.
John Wagner, of Certified Green Dealer and columnist for LBM Journal, will talk about the green building market in the coming decade.
Dr. Michael Workman, a former Texas A&M professor, will talk about new tools for managing branches.
STAFDA previously announced U.S. Airways captain “Sully” Sullenberger as the keynote speaker.
