STAFDA Publishes Business Foundations Book

The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association published a compilation of works on the basics of distributor operations from its consultants, Foundations of a Business.
“The Foundations book was designed to serve as a guide for new hires to familiarize them with the different departments at a distributorship and to provide them with useful information,” executive director Georgia Foley.
Authors include Abe WalkingBear Sanchez, Accounts Receivable; Nancye Combs, Human Resources; Jon Schreibfeder, Inventory Management; Al Bates, Profit Improvement; Tom Reilly, Sales; Bob Footlik, Warehouse; AND Bart Basi, For the Owner.
