STAFDA to Publish Training Manual

The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association will publish a new training manual, “Inside Sales/Service Pro” in time for its November convention.

The manual will be written by STAFDA’s sales consultant Tom Reilly and Paul Reilly. 

STAFDA’s 39th convention will be November 8-10, 2015, in Phoenix. 

Tom Reilly previously authored STAFDA’s “Sales Pro” manual.

The new manual replaces the 2005 “Counter Pro,” which STAFDA had shared with the National Association of Electrical Distributors.

The Reillys will interview distributor members to benchmark customer service “best practices,” and conduct field visits to observe counter and inside phone sales people.

The manual will address key areas of proactive vs. reactive selling, customer service, the ideal counter experience, best practices for inside sales calls, cross-serving and leveraging opportunities and team selling and serving.

STAFDA members will receive a copy and additional books will be available for sale. Web: stafda.org
