Sundram Fasteners Signs New Wage Accord
India-based Sundram Fasteners was one of six TVS group companies to sign a fresh common wage revision agreement with their workers’ union, the Economic Times reports.
The increase for the 3,036 workers ranges from Rs 4500 to Rs 6000 per month — reportedly one of the highest increases in the auto components sector, according to the Times.
