SWD Inc. is marking its 40th anniversary.  

In March 1980, SWD began black oxidizing, cleaning and pickling on used equipment with three employees in a 9,000 sq ft facility.  In 1981, SWD acquired Fastener Sorting Corp.

SWD has received multiple awards for environmental work, including the Illinois State Governor’s Pollution Prevention Award.

Today SWD provides finishing, coating and sorting for the fastener industry.  SWD has 150 employees working three shifts in a nearly 200,000 sq ft facility in a Chicago suburb.
