Talan Names New Engineering Manager
Talan Products named Fred Chordas as engineering manager, president Steve Peplin announced.
Chordas has 31 years experience in the metal stamping industry, including automotive and heavy truck; high-speed and heavy stamping; progressive die; and transfer and line dies. Chordas has program management and high-volume welding operations experience.
Peplin said Chordas “brings Talan valuable expertise that will help both us and our customers with key design and production components, including design for manufacturability and concurrent engineering. Not to mention, he’s a successful inventor and patent holder, so we know that he has an innate ability to look at problems in new ways and come up with creative solutions.”
Founded in 1986, Talan Products is a metal stamping company and manufacturer of tooling and engineered parts for more than 150 customers in the fastener, building products, solar, LED lighting, appliance, hardware, defense and transportation markets.
