UK-based TFC Fastening Solutions fixing and fastening distributor supplied Ratchet Rivets for the final installment of the Harry Potter movies.

According to the TFC website, the Ratchet Rivets “consist of two identical parts which when pushed together for a secure and tamper proof fixing, usually connecting two panels, making them an ideal solution for rigid or compressible material. The ratcheted thread provides a permanent, non-corrosive, fixing solution for materials of differing thicknesses, with the semi-spherical head allowing an aesthetically pleasing surface finish.”

“We were delighted when we were contacted regarding the order. Many of our components perform a vital function within industry or manufacturing and remain magically hidden, yet their application provides cost effective solutions which meet demands from a wide range of industries, including film, and to play even a small part in such a phenomenon as this well known series is rewarding.”

TFC distributes fastener and fixings to 24 countries through distribution centers in the UK, France and Germany and is headquartered at Hale House, Ghyll Industrial Estate, Heathfield, East Sussex, TN21 8AW, UK. Tel: (44) 1435 866011 Fax (44) 1435 866620 ©2010 GlobalFastenerNews.com
