The International Fastener Expo, the fastener industry’s largest North American gathering, runs this week at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

For 2018, show owner Emerald Exhibitions announced a vague “5,000” number for registration – including exhibitors, distributors and other categories.

The September 17-19, 2019, schedule includes a golf tournament, opening reception and conferences on Tuesday; exhibits from 10am – 4pm Wednesday and 9am – 4pm Thursday; and conferences on the show floor. The SourceGlobal and Machinery & Tooling areas will open at 8am Wednesday.

The IFE Hall of Fame will induct Ed McIlhon and Marty Nolan on Wednesday and Baron Yarborough will receive the Young Fastener Professional Award.

The 2019 IFE also was at Mandalay Bay on the south end of the famed “Las Vegas Strip.” It was at Mandalay Bay from 2007 through 2010.

The trade show originated in 1981 as the National Industrial Fastener Show & Conference in Columbus, OH. The Las Vegas edition opened in 1997. Emerald acquired it after the 2015 trade show and renamed it the International Fastener Expo for 2017. Web: FastenerShows.com
