Thomason Machines Unveils Larger Facility
Rockford, IL-based Thomason Machine Works celebrates its relocation to a building three larger than their former headquarters, the Rockford Register Star reports. The facility, located at 5459 11th Street, allowed the company to purchase 10 new CNC machining centers and two new mills.
Founded in 1978, the family-owned business, which repairs parts and tooling for the fastener industry, expects to top $2 million in sales, according to the Star.
In 2012 the company has added five employees, swelling its workforce to 20, with plans to add five more workers in the coming months.
“The industry is doing really well right now, internet sales have been really good, the Rockford economy seems to be coming back, and the fastener industry seems to be doing really well,” founder James Thomason told WIFR. ©2012 GlobalFastenerNews.com
