Tinnerman Palnut Names Ponteri as CEO

Tinnerman Palnut Engineered Products Inc. named board member Joseph Ponteri, 62, as president and CEO. \
Ponteri replaces James Finley, 53, who resigned as CEO but remains on the company”s board. Finley had been CEO since 2002.
For the past 15 years Ponteri has served as managing director at TMB Industries, a Chicago-based private equity firm. During his career has served as CEO of Metalforming Technologies Inc. He also headed Global Metal Technologies, a North American producer of aluminum die castings.
Board chairman David Kaplan praised Ponteri”‘s “exceptional experience” and performance record.”
