Training Institute Schedules CFS & Automotive Courses
The Fastener Training Institute will conduct an Automotive Technology training this spring and a one-week Certified Fastener Specialist program in July.
The July 25-29, 2011, CFS program, co-sponsored by the Industrial Fasteners Institute, in Cleveland, will include all the topics of the seven course program. Instructors will be: Joe Greenslade, IFI; Carmen Vertullo, SimplyBetter Inc; and Salim Brahimi, BECA.
The automotive program will be April 27-28, 2011, in Troy, MI. Topics include fastener tightening, failure analysis, metallurgy, heat treating and coating. It includes tours of heat treating and coating/surfacing facilities. Greenslade and Brahimi are the instructors.
