Tramec LLC and MacLean Fastener Services of Bartlett, IL, announced an agreement for the Kansas-based Tramec to distribute industrial fasteners.
Products include red nylon insert lock nuts, Uni-Torque and Mac-Loc products and the WhizLoc serrated flange screw and bolt product line.
Tramec president Gary Sullo said the new product line “allows us to more fully service the heavy duty tractor and trailer OEM and aftermarket businesses, as well as the industrial market.”
“The transition of MacLean Fastener Services to Tramec L.L.C. will be transparent to customers on all current and future business transactions.”
The new business will operate under the Tramec LLC name and will be located in Carpentersville, IL.
Tramec LLC is a subsidiary of Mundelein, IL-based MacLean-Fogg Company, which has 23 North American and 11 international facilities, annual sales of $800 million, and 2,000 employees.
