Tree Island Steel Ltd. announced the retirement of its CEO Dale MacLean.

“On behalf of Tree Island Steel and the board of directors, I would like to thank Dale for his contributions to Tree Island over the years,” stated board chairman Amar Doman. “We wish Dale well in his retirement.”

MacLean became Tree Island CEO in July 2011 and held the position for eight years and five months, according to his LinkedIn account.

The Tree Island board of directors will commence a search for a replacement CEO.
