Trifast Posts Strongest Growth in 40 Years

Trifast reported revenue grew 19.2% to £154.7 million (US$236.4 million) in fiscal 2015, which ended on March 31. 

Revenue in the UK (42% of total revenue) gained 3.5% to £65.5 million, while sales in Europe (30% of total revenue) increased 5.5% to £26.7 million and sales in the U.S. (3% of total revenue) nearly doubled to £4.3 million.

Revenue in Asia (25% of total revenue) was muted, edging up 0.7% to £ 38.6 million.

Improvement in revenue dropped directly through to the margin, with gross profit increasing by 130 bps to 29%. Total underlying profit before tax jumped 56% to £14.3 million.

“The impressive results in 2015 are stronger than originally expected,” the company stated.
