TriMas Names New Fastener Division Chief
Tom Aepelbacher
TriMas Corp. named Tom Aepelbacher president of its Aerospace & Defense segment, which includes Monogram Aerospace Fasteners, Mac Fasteners, Martinic Engineering, Inc. and NI Industries.
CEO Dave Wathen called Aepelbacher “a seasoned operations leader with 30 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain and lean initiatives.”
Aepelbacher replaces Monogram Aerospace president David Adler, who had led the Aerospace & Defense segment since April 2012. Adler will now focus on product development across the aerospace businesses and will report to Aepelbacher.
Aepelbacher, who holds a BS in industrial manufacturing, joined TriMas in 2003, and served as VP of Global Services Organization since March 2010. Prior to TriMas, he worked as an operations manager for General Motors-Powertrain.
