UK’s RCF Bolt & Nut Adds Capacity
UK-based RCF Bolt & Nut Ltd can now forge stainless steel bolts up to M36 diameter following the recent investment in two new induction heaters, Engineering Capacity reports.
RCF is also purchasing two CNC turning centers, enabling the company to produce a wider range of special products and machine more high grade bolt products.
These latest investments follow the complete refurbishment of the company’s forging machines and the installation of automatic saws, according to Engineering Capacity. In addition, RCF has installed a new machine that allows RCF to thread products up to M64 diameter.
RCF reported 28% growth in 2011, as well as a strong start in 2012, including two electricity board contracts and heavy involvement in the water supply industry, including a large project for the Middle East. To handle the growth, RCF has added seven new staff members.
Founded in 1977, RCF Bolt & NUt manufactures and distributes industrial fasteners up to M64 diameter, including high strength friction grip bolts and indented foundation bolts. The company is led by managing director R.W. Cooper.
