Unbrako Expands In India and the U.S.

Unbrako has invested $100 million in its new manufacturing plant in Bhopal with “high technology equipment,” LINK Magazine reported.

The facility, which sits on a 300-acre parcel, is Unbrako’s fourth factory in India. The initial phase of the project covers one-third of the site and is now fully operational. 

With initial capacity of 300 tons per day, the plant will cold forge Unbrako fasteners ranging from M2 to M39 diameters, as well as other hexagon head ranges in both metric and inch specifications, and stainless steel bolts, socket, nuts and washers in Grade SS304 &SS316, according to LINK.

“Growth in Asia is extremely rapid and Unbrako wishes to respond positively to that opportunity,” stated Unbrako president Sanjeev Kalra.

Company expansion isn’t limited to Asia.

Unbrako recently opened a new 300,000 sq ft warehouse in Los Angeles just off the 110 freeway.
