United Performance Metals opened its additive solutions center at its Ohio headquarters. The facility produces stainless steel, nickel and titanium build plates.

UPM Additive provides supply chain solutions for the additive manufacturing market – from feedstock supply management to finished part manufacturing. The company also offers closed-loop refurbishment of existing build plates through additional milling and grinding, and wire EDM build plate removal.

“We have been working hard over the last two years to build this facility and the feedback from customers has been incredible,” stated facility general manager JJ Johnson. “We… are adding resources and capabilities to meet their evolving needs.”

UPM, an O’Neal Industries affiliate company, provides high-performance metals and alloys, processing services and quality approvals for fasteners and multiple other industries. UPM was formed in 2008 from AIM International and Ferguson Metals. O’Neal Industries is an Alabama-based family-owned network of metals services centers.

UPM has facilities in California, Connecticut, Illinois, Ohio, South Carolina, Northern Ireland, Hungary and Singapore and is headquartered at 3475 Symmes Rd., Hamilton, OH 45015-1363. Web: Upmet.com
