The larger facility combines Vertex’s inventory with the alloy steel metric fasteners from the former Allmetric Fasteners warehouse, which was acquired by Vertex owner, Watermill Group, during 2006. “The new facility has allowed us to redesign our operation for more efficiency,” Southwest regional manager David Morgan explained.

Vertex president Mark Alperin also announced the company has expanded its steel, aluminum and stainless steel rivet lines and is now stocking in all nine of its facilities. Vertex also has added a line of backup washers for its rivets. “The pairing of our blind rivet offerings with our more than 12,000 other standard inch and metric products has proved extremely successful,” Alperin explained.
