Vossloh Group reported fastening systems sales grew 10.9% in 2012, boosted by rail fastener shipments in China and higher sales in the U.S., Germany and Kazakhstan.
“The company’s fastening systems and switch systems businesses saw some of the sharpest increases, with sales rising 10.9 per cent and 4.2 per cent respectively,” Rail.co reports.

Fastener sales outpaced Rail Infrastructure segment sales, which gained 1.7% to EUR 792.4 million.

Overall Vossloh Group sales increased 3.5% to EUR 1.55 billion in 2012, with EBIT edging up to EUR 97.5 million.
