Vossloh Wins Rail Fastening Systems Order

Vossloh Fastening Systems China (VFSC) won another tender for high-speed fastening systems worth EUR 50 million.

VFSC will supply the route from Qingdao City to Ji Nan City, a section of the approximately 700-kilometer connection from Qingdao on the east coast to Taiyuan, southwest of Beijing. Speeds of up to 250 km/h are planned for this route.

In Ji Nan, the line will be connected to the North-South line from Beijing to Shanghai.

Vossloh has operated plants in China since 2007.

The high speed rail network in China accounts for more than 50% of high speed lines currently in operation throughout the world.

In 2015, Vossloh generated sales of EUR 1.2 billion, with approximately 4,900 employees.
