Western Postpones Spring Conference

The Western Association of Fastener Distributors postponed its spring meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia until 2004, president Steve Kendall announced.
“It is evident to us that this spring is not the best time to bring you all together,” Kendall explained in a message to WAFD members. “Between the state of the economy, the war in Iraq and the outbreak of SARS, not enough of you are able to travel to Vancouver for the conference we’d planned for May 1-3.”
Kendall emphasized that WAFD has a 98% renewal rate this year. The 2004 dates will be announced later.
WAFD will meet September 7-21, 2003, at the Grand Summit Resort in Park City, UT.
