Carrie Ann Whitworth of EDSCO Fasteners was named 2018 president of Women in the Fastener Industry, succeeding Rosa Hearn of Brighton-Best International.
Jen Kushnir, DLP Coatings, is 2018 vice president; Michelle Richards, Olander Co., secretary; and Taryn Goodman, Industrial Rivet, treasurer.
Hearn becomes chairwoman and immediate past president.
New board members are: Trish Dyer from All American Products; Jackie Hunter from Stelfast; Jackie Smith from Wrentham Tool; and Peggy “PJ” McCaghn from Innovative Components / independent consultant.

Founded in 2009, WIFI initiated new awards in 2017. Pam Berry of Advance Components, a WIFI founder, was named 2017 Woman of the Year. Honored with the “Man Up” awards for 2017 are Andy Cohn, Duncan Bolt; and Bob Reynolds, INxSQL Software. The Man Up Group Award went to Star Stainless Co.
