‘Why Fasteners Fail’ will be the topic of an online training session July 13-14 conducted by the Fastener Training Institute and the Industrial Fasteners Institute.

The “Case Study: Why Fasteners Fail” webinar will be from noon to 2pm Eastern time on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Instructors will be Salim Brahimi, IFI director of engineering & technology; and Laurence Claus, IFI director of training.

The four-hour virtual training covers common fastener failures, including fatigue and hydrogen embrittlement. Real-world cases of fastener failure will be studied with possible preventions.

The course is designed for those new to the fastener industry as well as industry veterans plus individuals looking for practical experience with fastener failures.
