Wieland North America agreed to acquire specialty metals re-roller Scott Brass (House of Stainless, Inc., d/b/a Scott Brass) for an undisclosed sum.
Cranston, RI-based Scott Brass produces brass and copper strip for electronic and automotive connectors, fasteners, hardware and other products. The company is a privately held entity that acquired the assets of the former Scott Brass Inc. in 2009. Web: ScottBrass.com

The acquisition strengthens Wieland’s position in the North American market and builds on momentum from its 2019 merger with Global Brass and Copper Holdings, Inc. (Schaumburg, IL).
The deal is expected to close in the next 60 days.
Founded in 1820, Germany-based Wieland supplies semi-finished copper and copper alloy products for the automotive, electronics, refrigeration and air conditioning industries. The company operates over 90 facilities and employs 9,000 people. Web: Wieland.com/en
