The Women in the Fastener Industry named Nancy Rich of the Mid-West Fastener Association as the 2021 Woman of the Year.
The award recognizes “exemplary leadership & success in the fastener industry” and “advocacy for the professional advancement of women.”
Rich became the executive director of the Chicago Bolt, Nut & Screw Association in 1984. CBNSA became the Mid-West Fastener Association in 2004. Rich also heads the New England, Metropolitan and Southeastern associations.
Earlier this year, Rich was inducted into the MWFA Hall of Fame and the International Fastener Expo Hall of Fame.
WIFI also named George Hunt III, Brighton-Best International Mid-West regional manager, as 2021 Man Up Award winner for supporting women in the fastener industry.
