Charles Wolley is the new president and CEO of the Lone Star Fasteners LP division of LS Precision Manufacturing Inc., vice president of sales Steve Cabral announced. Wolley was with Baker Hughes, a global oilfield service company with operations in 90 countries.
Lone Star is a privately held manufacturer with 45% of customers in the petroleum industry and 40% in the downstream sector of the hydrocarbon processing industry. Lone Star reports annual revenue has grown 50% in the past two years. Lone Star is comprised of five main entities: Lone Star Fasteners, a manufacturer of standard and specialty high-performance fasteners; Walker Bolt/Ameritech, a forging and manufacturing operation focused on specialty fasteners built to military, aerospace, and customer specifications; Lone Star Sealing Technologies, a manufacturer of standard and specialty gaskets; Lone Star Coating Dynamics, a specialty applicator of industrial coatings; and Grange Gaskets and Precision Manufacturing, a specialty gasket and machine shop in Leeds, UK. In 2007 Lone Star merged with UK-based PRD Holdings Limited. PRD has facilities in Dubai and China and manufactures and supplies standard and specialty fasteners for the oil & gas, power generation, construction and automotive industries.
