Women in the Fastener Industry Features Friel as Speaker

Jennifer Johns Friel, the first woman among 62 chairpersons of the Industrial Fasteners Institute, will be the featured speaker at the Women in the Fastener Industry conference
The WIFI session will be from 4 p.m. October 19, in conjunction with the National Industrial Fastener & Mill Supply Expo at the Sand Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Friel, is president of Mid West Fabricating Co., in Amanda, OH,  In high school and college she worked summers at Mid West, but her first career was a news reporter for WKYT TV in Lexington, KY.  After five years of reporting, Friel began doing market research for Mid West. Three years later she was promoted to vice president and became president in 1997.

Tickets are $25, with proceeds going to the Edith Cameron Scholarship Fund.
