Wrought Washer Names Liter as President

Wrought Washer named Jeff Liter as president. Liter has 15 years of fastener manufacturing and distribution experience, including as executive VP for Wurth/Service Supply and as CEO for Elgin Fastener Group.

“Jeff has experience and a track record of leadership and success,” said Paul Schulz, outgoing president and shareholder. “We believe his industry knowledge will allow for a smooth transition and assures our future, remaining as the leader in domestic washers and specialty flat stamping.”

“Wrought Washer has a well deserved reputation as a leader in the industry founded on quality and customer service,” Liter said. “We will build on this by focusing on our existing customers and seeking new opportunities.”

Wrought produces standard and specialty washers on more than 50 presses and stocks 8 million pounds of raw material and processes more than 200,000 pound of steel per day. For more than a century, Wrought has supplied washers and flat stampings to markets including automotive, agricultural, truck, electrical, appliance, construction and industrial equipment.
